Anything But Gray

Amazon has 30 second clips of all the songs on Mariah's new album.
It is so cool! It's sounding so good and I cannot WAIT for this album.
It sounds "tougher" just a little bit rougher, for her. I'm excited.

J linked me to the site and we listened together on the phone.
it was one of my absolute favorite things to do with J.
Cause I get it….and she gets it.
She gets every goosebump, every time I gasp…"oh my gosh, that is good!", she just gets me when it comes to this stuff and I get her.
It's a thing we have done ever since we started being friends. We would just devour new albums by Mariah or Bon Jovi….we go over them note by note, word by word….I love it.

And every time a new album by Mariah or Bon Jovi comes out, I am reminded how much I adore that part of our friendship!

On a side note…just to give people an idea of how lame certain aspects of living in Alaska are…

I told Ceci how Mariah just broke Elvis's record of having more #1's and Ceci says..
.
"How does she have so many #1's? I never hear her on the radio?"
LOL
I so wanted to die laughing but I didn't want Ceci to think I was laughing at her, (because I wasn't…duh.) so I refrained from throwing myself to the floor in hysterics and just kept it to a chuckle and told her..
 
"That's because you live here and they don't PLAY number one stuff on the radio here…".

It was just such a glaring glimpse into the lameness of our radio stations in this town….
