Brett Favre Runs Lap After Fumble

Here's a little article about this.

Take it like a man, southern boy!

I just love him….

Obviously, I've solved my coffee issue.

Oh and Kim is about to land!!! Well, Kim's PLANE, I should say…it's not like she's turned into wonder woman and flew herself across the country.

6 more minutes!!
YAY!!!!

You know, If I were him, I’d have just retired, while I was at the top of my game.  Surely, he must have more than enough money to live on.

I see the logic in retiring when you’re on top, but I think when you live and breath the game, the way Brett does, it makes no sense to walk away when you still have the ability to play. It was crazy that he even did retire. I could’ve seen if he did it the year before when he totally played like crap, but this year? He had a career year! I couldn’t believe it when he held that press conference….I always say about my husband that he’s gonna die at his desk because he’ll never retire. He truly loves what he does…..some people just love what they do for a living and there’s no need to retire from it when it doesn’t feel like “work”. Someone wouldn’t retire from having fun, right?I think people that wind up doing what they love and are successful at it and therefore can earn a living doing it are lucky people, indeed!

I’m the “work to live, not live to work” type, myself.  I’ve never had a job doing what I love, and I suspect that if I were able to turn what I love into a job, that would suck all the joy out of it.  I’ve never really had a job I enjoyed, with, perhaps the first two years of being cop.  But I ended up burning out on that, and it quickly became a gruelling grind, like the other jobs I’ve had.
