So I finished our "we're moving" card yesterday.
I'm happy with it, not thrilled, but it'll work.
I am thrilled with the little poem I wrote.
It says:
Our time has been so very well spent
but really we're tired of getting wet
and winter jackets in mid-May
blue skies covered up with gray
We've been blessed with lots of love
family and friends we're fond of
That's what has kept us sane
under all this Alaskan rain
And you're the only thing we'll miss
Well maybe all the big ass fish!
Thank you doesn't say enough
for all Alaska has meant to us
And even though we're moving on
You won't be forgotten when we're gone

I gotta print them out today because Jaime has a picnic at the beach and there are a few moms I want to give one to.

I'm super happy because it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day and I just love when it's nice out for Jaime's outdoor school functions. 🙂
