Anything But Gray

Last week was an absolute crazy whirlwind of busy.
We had something going on every single day.
Jaime had a friend over on Monday and Tuesday.
Then went over to a friend's house on Thursday.
I went and picked Jaime up and me and the mom sat and talked for awhile.
Very, very nice conversation! I really enjoyed my time there.
Jaime wound up playing with Elizabeth more than Jakin.
Just as I arrived, Jakin was leaving for a playdate and Jaime and Elizabeth and Ben had a blast!
Me and Maura (Jakin & Elizabeth's mom) talked and talked.
It is so fun for me to get to know people. Especially people that I normally would not talk to.
Not for not liking her or anything, but our paths would not cross if not for the kids.
I really like that about having kids, it forces you to be more social. It forces you to have conversations.
It has definately helped with me being so reserved around people I don't know.
I'm getting more and more "loose" every day.
I like it!
It's actually perfect timing because that "reserved" crap isn't going to fly in real estate! lol.

Then Jaime & Ben had a birthday to go to on Saturday. That was fun, too.

AND it was draft weekend…

AND WES WELKER–we snagged his ass from those silly fish earlier in the off season
HOLY FUCK WE ARE GOING TO BE HOT, HOT, SO FRICKIN' HOT this year.
This ALMOST makes up for that horrific Colts loss.
Note I said almost, I'm still not done being pissed off about that friggin' game.
How do you give up an 18 friggin' point lead in a game that decides who goes to the FUCKING' SUPER BOWL!!!
I mean COME ON, people…..it's kind of important to win this one. GEEZ!! You'd think it was a stupid preseason game or something…..Okay…see? I can't even talk about it or I get pissy. ugh.

Okay..enough of that…I know I'm boring the few people that do read this, to tears.

I'm BLONDE.
So blonde you need to put your sunglasses on if you stand beside me because I practically GLOW!
I LOVE IT!! I have been wanting to do this for over 10 years and my hairdresser always convinces me to just go with highlights rather than dying it all because of the relaxer I get. This time I said Nope, I want it ALL. And I LOVE it. I'll get some pics tomorrow and post. I know everyone is dying to see it. My mother will hate it. She doesn't read this blog….I betcha she hates it. You watch. lol.

So I call my sister to bitch about how cold it is here today. She's not at home, she's at a birthday party in Maine. So I ask Rick (sister's dude…) about the weather and then I say I gotta go, I'm on my way to get my hair dyed blonde. He says "You're dumb enough, why go blonde?" (Can I say I ADORE my family??) And I tell him "I know, I know…I've been giving brunettes a bad name all these years, so I figured I'd just go the other side.".
Cracked me up…..

Danielle will be here TUESDAY night! I absolutely cannot BELIEVE how fast that month went by. I can't believe she is actually going to be here. Freaky! I can't wait to see her, i can't wait to see Joey (her son). I am so excited.

It's going to be another crazy week….I can tell.

I haven't heard J's voice in a million years and I miss her terribly.
I haven't even been to her blog, I've been so swamped.
And I do that every day, faithfully.
Tomorrow…new week.

And my friend Kim had a thing on Friday I'm dying, absolutely DYING to hear about.

okay…I'm so babbling. Nothing is even making any kind of sense.
I just have so much going on I'm trying to get everything down! lol.
